The Shop
Amplified started as a chair at Brightside Barbershop, where Nicole and Giovanni built a loyal following through consistency, warmth, and genuine skill. Now they have their own place — a calm, unhurried studio inside Mission Valley Mall where the environment matches the experience: professional without being stiff, social without being loud. Regulars know to expect a clean cut, a real conversation, and a very charming French bulldog on most days.
Nicole and Giovanni bring years of dedicated craft to every chair. No theatrics — just careful attention to each client's hair type, face shape, and preferences, built up over real time spent together.
The shop is deliberately small and calm. No screens blaring, no overstuffed waiting area. Just good music, a welcoming team, and a shop dog who makes everyone feel at home.
Many clients followed Nicole and Giovanni from their previous shop. That kind of loyalty isn't accidental — it comes from remembering how someone likes their fade, checking in between visits, and simply doing the work well, every time.

Precise beard shaping, edging, and grooming. Nicole is particularly noted for her expert beard and shave work.
The full session — a careful haircut followed by a beard trim, done together so the cut and beard complement each other perfectly.
